Founded in 2015, Entekra is a major construction company whose roots are firmly planted in Ireland but has multiple operations spanning the west coast of the U.S.
Since its foundation, Entekra has revolutionised the American construction industry with its Irish approach to building energy-efficient homes. When Entekra decided to open a new facility in Monaghan, leading to the creation of over 100 high-skill jobs, it wanted to share how this investment was going to give a welcome boost to the local economy. Entekra’s goal was to spread this message far and wide, while maintaining a focus on Co. Monaghan and the surrounding areas in order to attract potential employees, drawn to the mention of high-skill jobs and the opportunity to work for such a well known brand.
All Good Tales worked with Entekra to develop a communications strategy so that the story got the best possible media coverage. Entekra’s story appeared in both national and local media outlets, including the Irish Times, Irish Independent, RTE News, Newstalk, The Irish Daily Mirror, The Anglo Celt, The Northern Standard and the Ireland Edition of The Times. Entekra’s launch also got picked up by a number of online outlets and trade publications including Fora, Silicon Republic, Business Plus, Radio Nova and KFM.
Entekra’s CEO, Gerry McCaughey, also appeared on the Morning Ireland programme on RTE Radio One and on The Joe Finnegan Show on Northern Sound.
From all of this, we were able to shape Entekra as a homegrown brand in the eyes of the Irish media, which will help in the development of future PR strategies for the business. We were able to tell the story of how such a major U.S company with ties to major West Coast construction developments, is headed up in the small county of Monaghan, Ireland.
